Full Time Utility Clerk


The City Clerk's office in Lyndon is seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Utility Clerk. 
This position works under the direct supervision of the City Clerk.
 
Primary duties include answering and directing incoming phone calls, administering the utility and trash billing process, receiving payments, collections, and daily office operations as assigned. Must be able to interact positively with the public, possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to work independently and as a team. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and 10-key data entry skills are required.  Employee must reside within 30 minutes of Lyndon and live within the USD 421 school district.

The City offers a compensation package including paid leave, health, dental, and vision insurance, and KPERS.  Base salary $19.00 per hour and based on qualifications.
